Interview with Merrin, Progressive Death Metal Band from Syria

Merrin is Progressive Death Metal Band from Syria. Merrin are Tarek Malahefji (Guitars /song writing /Bass) and Khaled Nashar (vocals). Tarek Malahefji gave us some information about Merrin, Syria Metal Scene and Situation in their Town.

Tell us about Your Merrin?
Well merrin was basically a one man band project which i started last summer,i was at a low point in my life, and i suddenly started writing music ,and now im recording a 4 song ep.

What are lyrical themes of Merrin?
Well my lyrical themes are mostly metaphorical so im basically influenced by my personal life ,and the atmosphere around me plays a big part.

What are your influences?
I was basically influenced by the early 80's Thrash scene, Megadeth played a big part in my musical identity ,at the same time i try to combine the elements of the Death/Doom scene such as My Dying Bride, but at the moment, Prog and Old School Heavy Metal is the sound that im going for.

Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Syria?
Well the metal scene in Syria is in a shitty situation sadly, lots of bands broke up over the last 4 years and lots of musicians traveled abroad, but some bands are still trying to publish some efforts such as Chained, Demsark, and Rockna.

Who are Your Favorite Syrian Metal Band?
Anarchadia (inactive), Haunted Cellar (they released a killer ep.last year), Psychiatric Delusions (Split-up), and over half a dozen of killer bands.

Your Country invaded by Terrorist (Western backed Jihadist), How did the recording process go?
Cool question ! Well the instruments were recorded in my home studio and the vocals were recorded in Lattakia in u.ground studio (mixing, mastering, and producing) were done by my good friend Mahmoud Muhammad. The man, the same guy behind the one man band chained.

OK, Sorry if this Question Out of Topic. How about situation in Your Town?
Well i dont actually live in Aleppo, I travel between Lattakia and Damascus, but it’s pretty chaotic.

I hope peace come to your country. What are you future plan?
Thanks alot, well .graduate college, travel to europe or the us and form a band and look for a label.

What bands would you like to play alongside?
Probably Opeth, Dream Theater, Haken, Megadeth, and Skid Row, Khaled the vocalist is a monster with old school style singing, he can hit any high note that you can imagine.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
Probably Sweden, it has a thriving metal scene, the us of course.

Any Last Words?
Well, i was really pleased that you found out about our debut track in some way, and i want to thank you for this opportunity, and helping us by doing this interview, cheers! \m/

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)

Empirical Design create logos, branding identity & development, album art, apparel, press kits, advertisements, and marketing materials for physical and digital mediums. Danny Sackson gave us some information about Him Career as Illistrator. Check it out.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
Please give a brief introduction of yourself, your career and your work.
My name is Nick DePalo, and I founded Empirical Designs in 2013 in Staten Island, New York. Since then I’ve worked with hundreds of different clients from bands, record labels, booking agencies, magazines, blogs, athletes, apparel companies, and all types of businesses. Some noteworthy names I’ve worked with include Pratt & Whitney, Barstool Sports, Zach Granite from the Minnesota Twins, idobi Radio, Victory Records, In Flex We Trust, I Set My Friends on Fire, Thy Art Is Murder, & YouTuber Joey Salads.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
When did realize you wanted to make a career out of designing?
I always found myself drawn to art as a form of expression. I sketched all the time as a kid, but I never really dedicated myself to getting better at it, I only did it for my own enjoyment. Throughout my teenage years and early 20s I was in many different bands. My last band started releasing music and touring in late 2012, and we were in need of some shirt designs and album artwork. We were all pretty broke, partially because practice spaces in New York City are very expensive. So I took upon myself to learn the basics of design because it was a way to save some money. I really enjoyed it despite the work being objectively terrible, along the way other people noticed and started asking me to make stuff for their band. Eventually enough work came in that I built a portfolio, and as business grew I eventually left my dead end job and became a full time designer.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
What difficulties have you faced in transitioning into becoming a professional designer?
I’m self taught, and the learning curve is immense. I use a few different services to teach myself new techniques and take higher level courses in design, but ultimately I’m on my own. I’m a quick learner, but the tough part is figuring out what you don’t already know.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
What do you like the most about designing?
The part I enjoy most about design is that unlike most fine art, it has a commercial purpose. 99% of the things I design are for a specific, tangible use, and many end up being physical products. It’s a wonderful experience, to see something go from a thought passing through your head to a finished product being sold in a store.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
What do you like the least about it?
It’s hard to complain about my career. 99% of the time I feel very privileged to be able to make art for a living. It rarely feels like a “job”. If I had to pick something I would say the most difficult part is getting used to staring at a computer for extended periods of time. Sensory and eye fatigue is a real thing, and it’s not easy to explain to people. Some days I can be looking at my computer screen for 10-12 hours, maybe more. I try to take breaks and follow the 20-20-20 rule, but in general, people aren’t supposed to be staring into blue light for that long.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
Who are some of your main artistic inspirations and why?
Some of my biggest inspiration comes from early 1900s architecture such as Brutalism, Bauhaus and Art Deco. Growing up in New York City there’s so many beautiful examples of these styles in my own backyard. I also draw inspiration from traditional American tattoos, as well as sports uniform and branding, and skateboard deck and apparel design. Some of my favorite artists include Don Pendleton, Brian Steely, and Todd Radom.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
What is the best advice you have ever received regarding your artwork and career?
The best advice I ever received about my career or design in general was “don’t let them kill your soul”. It’s the ending of every episode of The Graphic Sound, a graphic design podcast by artist Brandon Rike. It really hammers home the feeling that designers get when you’re burnt out, lacking inspiration, and constantly trying to meet the demands and expectations of clients, while simultaneously trying to express your vision and put your voice into the artwork you’re making. “Don’t let them kill your soul” can be applied to any kind of art where compromises must be made to achieve success. It’s how I have been living my life since the day I heard it, though sometimes that’s easier said than done.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
What are some of your goals for the future?
I want to design branding and uniforms for a professional sports team, and I want to design album art and packaging for a big national touring band. I feel like if I keep at it, I can get there.

Metal Illustrator: Interview with Danny Sackson (Empirical Designs)
Do you have a philosophy behind your work?
I see my work as problem solving. If I look at my work through the lens of “make stuff look cool” and “design shirts I would wear”, I wouldn’t be successful and I wouldn’t be making most of my clients happy. My work is about solving my client’s problems. They need a logo design, the name of the company is, ____, their message is _____, their client base is _____, they like____, they don’t like _____, and on and on and on. My aim is to come up with the perfect solution to settle all of those questions and put everything in it’s right place.

Interview with Warfist, Blackened Thrash Metal Band from Poland

Warfist, Blackened Thrash Metal Band from Zielona Góra, Poland. Warfist will released their New Album "Metal to the Bone" on October 30th, 2016 via GODZ OV WAR PRODUCTIONS. Mihu, frontmant of Warfist gave us some information about Warfist and Metal to the Bone. Check it out.

Tell us about Warfist?
The band started in 2004. It has been founded by me and Witchfucker, our original vocalist who left the band in 2006. We always wanted to play dirty, classic and old school metal from the 80s. You know, the times when the boundaries between the genres weren't as clear as they are today and the music wasn't as divided as it is now, in general. Just plain fuckin' METAL!!! Our story is quite typical for as for an underground band – many shows, few released materials, long anticipated full-length... And here we are now, counting days until the release of our second album “Metal to the Bone”, which is the best thing we did since the band's beginning.

What are your influences?
As I said, our aim has always been to play classic, old school metal. The bands that inspire us the most are Sodom, Motorhead, old Bathory and Venom. We are very much into the German thrash metal in general and bands like old Kreator, Assassin, Holy Moses, Living Death, Iron Angel, etc. The most inspiring period for us are the 80s and any type of metal that was created back then. Doesn't matter if it's thrash, death, black or heavy, as long as it's evil and contains a proper amount of the devil.

Tell us about concept of your upcoming album "Metal to the Bone" and What are Lyrical Themes of "Metal to the Bone"?
There actually is no lyrical concept behind “Metal to the Bone”. Lyrics on this album are separate beings. In general, the lyric-topics circulate around evil. So, there's a song about a Macedonian journalist who killed women and then wrote articles about it in “Written with Blood”. There's a song about a woman who was imprisoned by nuns in a monastery and almost starved to death in “Convent of Sin”. There's a story about a girl who met a guy who appeared to be a necrophiliac in “NecroVenom”. I like real stories about evil side of human nature. Of course we also continue to spit in the face of all monotheistic religions as we do in “Pestilent Plague” for example. So as you see, lyrical themes of our songs are pretty diverse. The only thing they have in common is that they need to be evil and metal!

How were the songs written?
Usually I bring the riffs and we work on them at rehearsals. It was the same this time as well.

How did the recording process go?
We recorded instruments in Mosh Pit Studio. I think it happened during one or two weekends of April 2015. The overall atmosphere during the recording was really good. There was no tension. We we're just doing our job and were pretty happy with the results. Afterward we were sending the album's demo to the labels. There was some feedback, but nothing specific, so we decided to upgrade this stuff a little bit. That's where Marcin of Left Hand Sounds Studio comes in. He's responsible for mix and mastering of the stuff and did an awesome job. You can hear the results on the album.

Interview with Warfist, Blackened Thrash Metal Band from Poland, Interview with Warfist Blackened Thrash Metal Band from Poland
Metal to the Bone, Artwork by Maciej Kamuda
What are your hope for "Metal to the Bone"?
We hope that this album will receive a truly positive feedback. As I said, it's the best thing we have made so far, and we're really proud of it's final result. I really don't like the word “mature”, but I can't come up with any other that would appeal better to the progress we have made in writing music, as well as lyrics. Hope that the maniax will appreciate this stuff, because we're really proud of it. I'm have really positive feelings regarding “Metal to the Bone”, especially that we have Godz Ov War on our side and Greg is a guy who really knows what he's doing when it comes to promoting his releases. So, we did our job and now it's up to the fans how they will judge this album.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
Ha! That's a tough question. We didn't play much abroad except for Germany, Czech Republic and Ukraine. Therefore, the list is quite long... I'd definitely like to play in Australia one day, because I really respect their metal scene. It's huge and awesome. The Australian bands usually kick ass and I assume that it's a good place for metal. What else? Touring Scandinavia would be cool. Also Europe in general. There are many dreams regarding Warfist's live shows and hopefully enough time to fulfill them. Bottom line is, we'll play anywhere they want us and provide good conditions.

What bands would you like to play alongside?

This one's easy and I'd say Sodom! Definitively! If we are able to play alongside Sodom, I can die! Of course, there are a lot more bands that I respect, admire and would like to play alongside with. For example Destroyer 666, Venom, Gehennah, Nifelheim, Scythian... I think we would fit as a support act for these crews. But the biggest dream is definitely Sodom! They are godz and one of a few bands that always kept it metal, regardless of the trends. Besides, their two last albums really shred.

Any last words?
Keep it metal to the bone! Thanks for the interview!

Insomnium - Winter's Gate (Lyrics)

Slaughter Moon:

The hoar sea enfolds us
The scent of the coming winter
Hear the howl of the wind
A song from the ocean's womb
Far away behind us
Black smoke still rises high
Houses of the southern god
Broken under the iron hooves

The time of slaughter moon
Sunless, Stareless ways
Sailing to world's end
To meet our crown or doom
The time of slaughter moon
The season of the mist
We're faring in the dark
Sinking into cold night

The grim sea unfolds us
The scent of the burning temples
Hear the wail of the waves
A song from the hidden deep

Far away from homely shores
And winter is on our tail
Driven by hunger and greed
Swallowed soon by the great worm

The Golden Wolf:

And there, amidst the fog
A solemn mountain rises
Its pinnacle touching the grey sky
Silent spruces guarding the shores

There waits a grinning prize
Worthy of legend
There waits a goden wolf
A beast with six legs

And yet I search on
And yet I wait
To find your shadow
Amidst the darkest night

Still I bear the flowers of pain
Still I bear the flowers of solitude

What trick of gods is this?
Rewars and riches
Here within our reach
Yet no within our grasp

And yet I search on
And yet I wait
To find your shadow amidst the darkest night
And yet I search on
And yet I wait
To find a place where no sorrow creeps in

And yet it wrings me
Like a strange cold hand
And yet it burns me
Like a viper's tongue

Better it would be
To lie on bed of silt
And watch the moon's face
From under the waves

Better it would be
To rest on bed of mire
Inside the ocean's womb
Dreaming of days long gone

Sunless, starless, pathless is the way

At the Gates of Winter:

Still I bear the flowers of pain, of solitude

And on the mountain's side
Grim-looking gates lies
Staring towards the north
Waiting in solitude

Barring the way inside
The giant doors of stone
Not built for mortal men
Not made for us to pass

Vile trick of ornery gods?
Rewards and riches
Right here within our reach
Not within our grasp

I walk with my head down
Wind blows right through my waning heart
Weightless, like a bird in my arms
She looks into the bottom of my soul

Grave tidings from the northside
Grave is the tone of this night
Weightsome the dark around us
The weight of time upon us

No one will sing tonight
No one will leave the pyre
Dreaming of gloden wolf
Dreading the winter's might

The Gate Opens:

Hear the sound resonate
Through your flesh
Through hte ground, across the skies
Cracking roar, a thunder's bark
Echoes here, the voice of doom
Blackened clouds now seize the welking
Wielding all of winter's ire

And it will rise with a white voiceless face
From from the heart of earth
From under the mountain

The stromwind engulfs us
The whirl of white and grey
The downfall is upon us
The reprisal of wantom gods

Here at world's end we will termble
Far beyond the deceitful seas
Here we hide now, crawl to shelter
Far away from the homely shores

And it will rise with a white voiceless face
From the heart of the earth
From under the mountain
Devouring the sun and the earth, forest an sea
Devouring us all

Stumbling forward in knee-deep snow
The wind is whipping my face in frozen slashes

Void of direction... void of hope...
I call her name... in the whiteout...

There amidst the raging coldness, I catch her figure
The fear of death is staring at me through her eyes

Through the wind's howl, a scream now rises
Something moves in the whirl of snow
Creatures born out of winter's furor
Closing in on us

Through the cave's mouth, a crack in the stone wall
I'm tearing my way right into the dark
A beast is rending the ground behind me
Kiiling all the light

Hear the grinding... of stone against stone...
I'm crawling deeper... in the dark...

The Final Stand:

The flames is weak and frail
A circle of shiverin men
Enclosed by endless coldness
The evernight, eternal dark

The moan of undying winds
Now merged with hollow screaming
The fire dies in a sngle breath
The en has come

Out of the darkness, out of the cold
Out of the night, they have come
Cruel is the laughter, cruel is the fate
Cruel is the winter's will

Merciless is th fray
Bitter the final stand
Perdition and ruin;
The icy grip now traps them
Right here at the world's end
The forst of death will take them all

The lords of the high seas
Are smitten down into snow
No way to bear the fury
No way to ward off all the fiends

Devouring the sun and the earth
Devouring the forest and sea

Devouring us all

Into the Sleep:

Sing a quiet song to me
Sing of spring and sing of sea
Sing a silent song to me
Sing of hope and sing of sleep

Interview with Polyptych, Progressive Blackened Death Metal Band from America

Polyptych, Progressive Blackened Death Metal Band from Chicago, America. Polyptych are Scott Skopec - Guitar/Vocals, Howard Ruan - Guitar, Frank Lato - Bass/Synths/Vocals, and Troy Hoff - Drums. Polyptych gave us some Information about Polyptych via Email. Check it out.

Tell us about Polyptych?
Polyptych was initially conceived as a studio project. We never really imagined the band becoming what it has become now, and we weren’t taking the project quite as seriously as we do now. By the time we recorded our second album, Illusorium, we became a full live act with permanent members following the release of that album. Since the band’s origins, we have also incorporated a lot more complex ideas, both in the music and lyrics. Originally we focused on just being a death metal band that was heavy, but now we now approach everything from writing to production with a much different attitude than we did back in day. At this point, we are constantly trying to do something different on each album, as we take our listeners through unpredictable twists and turns with each song we write.

What are the lyrical themes of Polyptych?
Polyptych aims to express a wide range of lyrical concepts, and our goal is to fully realize those concepts through the music and artwork. Because our music from album to album is so different, this gives us a lot of freedom in choosing our concepts. We like to choose concepts that will be both intriguing to us and the listeners but we also like to choose concepts that will challenge us and the listeners as well. For example, on Illusorium we chose to explore the idea of a human being becoming a god and the type of emotional conflict one might face in this situation- the protagonist gains unimaginable power, but at the cost of his human identity, alienation from those he loves, and the guilt of having to pass judgment on the world. On Defying the Metastasis, we looked to historical, philosophical, and fictional accounts of totalitarianism, examining how individuals within these societies cope with and struggle against the institutions that oppress them. With Polyptych, the sky is the limit in terms on conceptual choices – we never quite know ourselves what we may write about in the future and there is no single concept that Polyptych seeks to explore. The lyrical content is further developed through the artwork of Chris Kiesling and Misanthropic Art. Without his additions, these ideas we have would never be fully realized. Chris’s work is integral to our final product and in developing the messages we wish to convey.

What are your influences?
Our musical tastes range from King Diamond to Deathspell Omega to Bjork to the Mars Volta. Most of us come from different musical backgrounds and while the common ground is obviously metal, there are definitely a lot of other musical interests amongst all the members. But it is these different musical backgrounds that bring a lot of variety to the band in terms of both our songwriting approach and each person’s individual performance.

Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Your Town?
Chicago, IL, United States, has a thriving metal scene. There’s a bunch of metal bands of all different styles around here, and there are tons of up and coming bands too. Bongripper is probably one of the biggest local acts we have right now. Other significant names include Yakuza, Bloodiest, Weekend Nachos, Like Rats, Ox King, and Harm’s Way. Some big up and comers we have seen recently include Warforged, Roman Ring, Nucleus, Dethbeds, Endmember, Vukari, and Den. We’re fortunate to be in a location where metal is loved and where people like to come out to local shows. It’s a fun city to be able to play in and we enjoy playing in Chicago whenever we do play.

Who are Your Favorite American Metal Bands?
Some of our favorite American metal bands are Iced Earth, Young and in the Way, Wolves in the Throne Room, Death, Morbid Angel, Immolation, Nevermore, and Cobalt to name a few. However, most of our major influences come from foreign bands.

How were the songs written?
In the past, writing was a bit more democratic, but for Defying the Metastasis Scott and Frank did the majority of the writing along with some valuable contributions from now ex-guitarist Young Werther. Scott also handled the vocal arrangements this time around and that would explain why the vocal patterns, in our opinion, are a lot more refined than on previous records. Vocals are something that have always important to us, but they have always been very tricky to nail down in a way that sounds good to us. Being three records in, we have now learned a lot about who does what best in this band and we think letting each person work on their own craft a little more than in the past was what made all the songs better on Defying. This does not mean there is not a collaborative effort within the band. There are still majority votes on things as needed, but giving each person a bit more room to excel in their respective skill sets is what made the difference when making this record. This is also something we will continue to do going forward since it worked so smoothly this time around.

How did the recording process go?
Recording was smooth and painless. We spent about 11 days at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL recording with Andy Nelson. Troy knocked out his drum parts in about 3 days and we finished up everything else in the remaining 8 days. Everyone was well rehearsed so we didn’t run into any issues. We are lucky to have members that are well versed on each of their instruments so we are always confident when we enter the studio. We get a bit nervous of course, but our performances on this record were on point and we were very happy with how we performed. After recording, we hired V. Santura from Triptykon and Dark Fortress to mix and master the record. This proved to be a great choice because he really made this record shine and his mixing style compliments Andy’s recording style very well. We couldn’t be happier with how the record sounds.

What are your future plans?
Our future plans are to play more shows and continue writing. We just landed a record deal with Blood Harvest, which has been great. While they are promoting Defying we are going to try to promote the record ourselves as well by playing more often. We’ve also gathered a decent amount of new material for the follow up album to Defyingand we are starting to sift through that now. Whatever we do next definitely won’t sound like the last record, so everyone can expect something fresh when we do put out the next record, as this is our goal with each record we make.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
Anywhere outside the US would be fun to play, but of course Europe would be great because the metal culture there is so widely accepted and respected. We think Polyptych would probably be well received there. However, it would be fun to venture over to Asia as well because that is a totally different environment from anywhere else in the world and we know there are tons metal heads in that region as well. It would also be great to play some of the major festivals such as Roadburn, Hellfest, Summer Breeze, Tuska Open Air, Party San, and more.

What bands would you like to play alongside?
We really just like to play alongside any band that we think sounds good. If a band has solid musicians, unique sounding riffs, and a stellar live show, we would be willing to play with them. As far as bigger acts go, it would be awesome to play alongside bands like Akercocke, Voices, Triptykon, Destroyer 666, Ihsahn, Gorguts, and the like.

Any last words?
We want to thank everyone who has supported the band thus far, and we want to remind everyone that Defying the Metastasis will be officially released via Blood Harvest Records on October 14th. Preorders for the physical album CD can be made on Blood Harvest’s website (http://shop.bloodharvest.se). Digital copies will be sold via their bandcamp and our bandcamp page as well (Polyptych.bandcamp.com). Also, everyone can keep up to date with the band on our Facebook and/or Instagram! Interview with Kashgar, Black Metal from Kyrgyzstan

Kashgar is Black Metal Band from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Blauth, Ars and Warg gave us some information abouth Kashgar and Metal scene in Kyrgyzstan. Check it out. B: Blauth, A: Ars and W: Warg

Tell us about Kashgar?
Blauth:  Kashgar was founded in the winter of 2014. The three core members, Warg (bass), Ars (guitars), and myself Blauth (vocals/drums) began writing immediately. Ars and Warg have known each other for a long time; I was introduced to Ars via another guy named Spider, who was originally going to be the drummer, but then decided not to when he heard how heavy we wanted to play. We wanted to have an unique approach to the music, not quite fitting into the speed, black, death, or progressive category.  We now have two new members, in Alex (drums) and Max (guitar).
Ars: I think it was November 2014, our first practice. Several riffs that we used later in Erlik and Albarsty were written that day. For quite a while we couldn't find a decent line-up, so Blauth had to remember his drumming skills. We even thought he would have to do both vocals and drums at the same time, but he's finally free from that obligation and is now terrifying the audience, running around the stage with a horse-skull and a whip in one hand, and a mike in another. Pretty scary. People call him "demoniacal Shaman". That's pretty much what the band's act is about - dark, brutal, electro-shamanistic performance of audio-vandalism!
Warg: For me Kashgar is a chance to return to my metal roots, back to 90's, when there was a rather big metal-scene in Bishkek.

What are lyrical themes of Kashgar?
B: The lyrics focus primarily around dark Kyrgyz folk tales. Dark spirits of the mountains, ancient Gods of the traditional religion of the Kyrgyz, which is known as Tengri. The religion is still practiced in some corners of this land, and more so in Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Altai. There are quite a few allusions to the Manaschi art as well. We turn most things on their heads, however.
What are your influences?
B: My influences are mostly 70s/80s/early 90s black, death, speed and heavy metal, as well as a healthy smattering of punk and other musics. I grew up in the 80s when metal was really at its apogee. I was fortunate enough to have seen many of the classic bands when they were still at their prime: Sepultura, Deicide, Nuclear Assault, Napalm Death, Exploited, etc. In the mid-80s I got into heavy metal through Iron Maiden, Guns n' Roses, Slayer and Metallica; and then quickly discovered Misfits, Venom, Celtic Frost, Bathory, and so on. As the "scene" expanded, I continued to delve into heavier music, and eventually in maybe 94 discovered Emperor, Beherit, Enslaved, Burzum, Impaled Nazarene, Dissection, and so on. I lost interest in the scene in around '96 when things started becoming stale, but I have since found a few good bands in recent years: Beherit, Antaeus, Desecresy, Thou Art Lord, Celtic Frost, Sammath, Destroyer 666 are bands who come to mind as having put out material of good quality in the last decade or so.
A: 60's - 70's classics: Beatles, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Jethro Tull. Early 90's metal, including Sepultura, Samael, Obituary, My Dying Bride, Anathema, Paradise Lost. Tool - of course. Recently I was impressed by Mayhem, Demilich and Sun O))) live acts. I also enjoy some experimental jazz and art/prog pearls such as Gordian Knot, David Torn, Trey Gunn, Riverside.
W: Napalm Death, Samael, Sargeist, Disbelief, Pig Destroyer, Satanic Warmaster, Death, Longing for Dawn. Oh, and Portishead.
Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Your Kyrgyzstan?
B: Pretty empty. I would say that we're the only active metal band around. Our new second guitarist, Max, did have a thrash metal band called Panzer Bulldozer some years ago, and we actually performed together the other night. I don't know whether they are fully re-formed or not. Overall, there are much more metal acts over the border in Kazakhstan. Here in Bishkek there are a few grim souls who listen to metal. They're mostly quite young. As I think that I said somewhere else, I think that there may be around 40 people who listen to actual metal, as opposed to Nu Metal or Core Metal or whatever they're calling it today.
A: It used to be much bigger in late 90's - lots of really good bands, like Necronomicon, Neocrima, Odyn's Nocturnal North, Extremistic Negative Clan, Infernus, Ellodia (Warg and Alex played in some of those) and regular metal acts in 2 of the only underground rock-clubs in Central Asia of that time. Now there is only one rock-club in Bishkek and they prefer lighter bands there, though metal shows also happen from time to time - mostly the same 2-3 young "something-core" bands, Kashgar and sometimes a guest band from Kazakhstan - we played a gig with great thrashers Zarraza from Almaty this spring. There are a couple of metal bands like Panzer Bulldozer, which kinda still exist but almost don't play live.
Do you know Darkestrah? What do you think about Darkestrah?
B: Darkestrah were here before, but they've moved on to Germany, so we are holding the flame.I actually began writing the folktale lyrics before I even knew of  Darkestrah, so I was a bit disappointed to discover that they exist. In any event, our music styles are very different. I believe that Warg played with an early lineup of Darkestrah, so I'll let him tell the tale.
W: We shared the stage in 90's with Asbath and Kriegtalith. I started with the band named Extremistic Negative Clan, and later played with Asbath in Necronomicon and Odyn's Nocturnal North. He's a great musician, we used to spend a lot of creative time together. They formed Durkestrah in 99, recorded a demo and were lucky enough to get signed after moving to Germany with Kriegtalith. I listen to their each and every release, they've been very productive so far. Good records, professional approach.
A: Alex and Warg were friends with Asbath and Kriegtalith. I didn't know them well back then, though I was at several shows of their former bands. Durkestrah's music is very solid and epic. They keep up with good-old traditions of black metal, while implementing lots of Kyrgyz folk instruments and motifs into their songs. It sounds interesting and ear-catching, though we decided to use a different approach from the very beginning.

How were the songs written?
B: What generally happens is that Ars will start throwing around riffs with whichever temporary guy we may have had (there were three other guitarists at least who played with us throughout the year). I then try and drive the tracks as I see best. I wrote the percussion for the album, although we did have a temporary guy actually record four of the tracks on the album. Generally there are a lot of arguments and strife as we try and craft a track. It's not the easiest process in the world. I think that we probably throw away dozens of riffs in the creation of each track.
A: Some of the best ideas were also brought in by Warg and our former guitarist Mike. Usually it takes a long time to reach a consensus about the track. Sometimes we'd change some parts even after they were already recorded. That's because we all come from different musical backgrounds, but that is also what makes it interesting about our music, I suppose. Most of the songs were written in our studio, with Blauth behind the drums and me with Warg trying to invent something that would satisfy everyone. It took us several months to finish our shortest track - Scent of Your Blood! But once the music is done, Blauth starts writing the lyrics and and vocal parts, we polish it together and work out second guitar's parts. And then we try to record a demo to hear the whole picture.
How did the recording process go?
B: The recording process was a real pain in the ass. It was Ars' first shot at recording in this manner, and so it ended up taking a lot longer than we expected. We actually began in the summer of 2015, when our guitarist Mike was still with us. I think that Ars laid down many of the tracks that Mike was on in a couple of long sessions. Then the band was essentially dead through the autumn, and we revitalized it just before losing that temporary drummer. Ars and I became serious about it in December, and it was done in early January of this year. Then there was a long period of mixing, when Ars tried to achieve his perfectionist's goals... And finally we gave it over to Achilleas of Varathron and Crown Audio Conspiracies for stem mastering. He did a really great job; we're very happy with it.
A: The whole album was recorded in our own Base studio. The thing was to go through the whole process by ourselves, and I'm rather proud of the result. There are no pro-level studios for extreme recordings in Kyrgyzstan, so we didn't have much of a choice, and decided not to depend from anyone in this. Most of the guitars were recorded with 2 dynamic microphones into Marshal 1960 Lead 4x12 cab with Peavey 6505+ head. Sometimes I used Marshal 1960 Vintage and a condenser mike to better differentiate the sound. We used our Yamaha Tour Custom drum-set and recorded it into 8-tracks interface, and I used Ampeg head for bass signal. Lots of the equipment was kindly provided by our friend Reza Danaei and we're really grateful for that. These days we already have almost everything we need for live gigs and future recordings, so we can start working on the new album soon.

What are you future plans?
B: We have begun writing again, and are playing quite a bit right now. The eponymous album will be out on LP in the next month or two through Manifest of Hate Creations from Germany.
A: Plans for closest future: find a label to release the CD-version, create a new kick-ass album, play a couple of festivals abroad.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
B: We played Moscow, which was pretty amazing for me. My missus is from Serbia, so it would be great to play in the Balkans.
A: Czech Republic (I love the country and the people), Norway, Sweden and Germany - true metal places. Greece (to meet Varathron and Achilleas in person) and Israel (want to show the country to the rest of the band).
W: Norway, US.
What bands would you like to play alongside?
B: In a dream world, it would be great to play with Varathron and Necromantia, because the Greek classics are amazing. I finally got to see Mysticum and Varathron last year along with Xibalba, Destroyer 666 and Blasphemy. That was an insane lineup. I saw that the Misfits reformed for a couple of shows in the States. It'd be great to play with Danzig.
A: Mayhem! Samael, Varathron, Napalm Death. Maybe Salem if they still play - they were amazing live in Tel-Aviv in 2002.
W: Grave, Deicide, Samael, Satyricon.

Any last words?
B: Go check out our album. Thank you for the interview.
A: Thanks for the spotlight. Hail, Indonesia!

Interview with Aeternitas, Symphonic Metal Band from Germany

Aeternitas is Underground Symphonic Metal Band from Lubeck, Germany. Aeternitas are Alma Mathar (Vocals), Oliver Bandmann (Vocals), Alexander Hunzinger (Guitar), Anja Hunzinger (Keyboard), Daniel T. Lentz (Guitar), Stefan Baltzer (Bass), and Frank Mölk (Drums). Aeternitas gave us some information. Check it out.

Tell us about AETERNITAS?
We are a modern symphonic metal band from Northern-Germany and looking forward for the release of our new 4th studio album "House of Usher" in October. We have a long band history of more than 15 years with several muscial and personal developments.

What are lyrical themes of AETERNITAS?
We always created concept albums. Within the first two albums - "requiem" and "La Danse Macabre" - we used existing medieval lyrics from the Mass for the Dead and the Dance of Death. Starting with the last album "Rappacinis Tochter" we wrote lyrics based on American Gothic Stories from the 19th centruy. On the last album this was a story from Nathaniel Hawthorne and our current album is based on the the famous story "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allen Poe.

What are your influences?
In the early years there were the godfathers of Gothic Metal "Paradise Lost" and also bands like "Theatre of Tragedy". In the younger past "Within Temptation" or also "Delain" had an influence in our current style.

Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Your Town?
In the past the metal scene in Lübeck - our hometown - was most influenced by Black and Death Metal. As gothic-oriented band we were almost unique. In the meantime there is much diversity, we have also Power Metal oder NuMetal bands here.

Who are Your Germany Favorite Metal Band?
I would't call them my personal favorites, but bands like "Blind Guardian", "Halloween" and "Gammaray" had a huge influence in the German Metal scene.

How were the songs written?
For the current album "House of Usher" I wrote all the songs and did the basic arrangments. In a second step we worked together on the songs in our rehearsal sessions, trying several ideas and imrpoving the songs.

How did the recording process go?
We recorded all the stuff in our own studio. For the vocals we had the support of the vocal producer Henning Basse (Firewind, MaYan) who worked with Alma and Oliver on the vocals. I produced the orchestra and mixed the songs and finally Götz Gretschman from Wonderlandstudio did the Mastering.

What are your future plans?
We are currently working on our new songs to play live in some shows next year. And we will start working on new material to produce a new album in the near future.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
As we've played most of our gigs in Germany every country outside of Germany would be great to play in. Hopefully we can manage this next year beginning with some European countries, and maybe in the future also in North or South America.

What bands would you like to play alongside?
Currently "Delain" would be a great match-up. Once I've met Martijn and the other musicians on a gig backstage and they seem to be really cool guys.

Any last words?
Enjoy our music and enjoy all good music and give the music the value it deserves.

Interview with KOB, Thrash Metal Band from Croatia

KOB is Thrash Metal from Split, Croatia. KOB are Frane Bašić - Bass, Josip Perica - Drums, Ivan Radić - Guitars, and Petar Mijić - Vocals. KOB gave us some information. Check it out.

Tell us about KOB?
The idea of forming band started in 2013., 2 years of playing covers at concerts in our homeland Croatia and changing the lineup brought us here, with one recorded heavy/thrash album of our own songs.

What are lyrical themes of KOB?
Main themes of songs are superficiality and emptiness of todays society, but also some personal stuff about treason of people that were very close to us, and by that here comes the answer to them with songs which tell you to stand up and fight 'till you achieve your goals neverminding the bullshit of envious people. So by listening to album you can come across a lot of motives of revenge, justice and punishment. We also included mystic creature of Sirius who symbolizes something unknown, something out of this world and time, and that could give us hope for better tommorrow.

What are your influences?
All of us listen to different genres of rock and metal, but when we talk about influence, bands that made us want to learn to play the instrument each of us is playing now we can all agree about Black Sabbath, Dio, Misfits, Anthrax, Megadeth,Overkill...

Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Your Town?
To be honest Metal scene doesn't exist in Split, there are few older bands that made one album and are now at some shitty underpayed job while their guitars collect dust or they play at weddings. You have one club that has 2 metal concerts in year and that's it! The problem here is that rock and metal music are considered alternative music so if you have festival you will probably hear one metal, one soft rock, one indie rock and one pop rock band. And don't get us wrong, its not like there is no metalheads in Split, it's just the support of the media and organisators that keeps doing that.

Who are Your Favorite Croatian Metal Band ?
Đubrivo, Stimulans, Ultimatum and Speedclaw. (It's almost all that exists* in Croatia)

How were the songs written?
We always came u first with riffs, solos, drums...basically the instrumental was first. Then we all just sit down and listen what we hear song tells us itself, how it makes us feel, you now? And then vocal and drummer start writing with their lyrical side and we all discuss what to add or change.

How did the recording process go?
The recording was hard not to lie. But mainly because we started it recording in November last year with another vocal and he was not up to task so we had to find better replacement. It took most of our time to find the vibe with new vocal and basically doing it all over again with writing 7 new lyrics. But process at the studio was lasting all in all just few days cause we came in prepared and our recorder Dado Marušić from studio Deva was ready to guide and help us at any time.

What are you future plan?
Recording and making merchendise was all of our own cost, we are still in dept. So in future we would want to be able to make all of that without worying if our jobs will bring enough money to make it. Of course we would like to tour all over the world and make money of this thing that we love doing. But for sooner future we would like to sign for record label and get our name and music out there.

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
We would be glad to play anywhere where people want us to hear, and its probably not Croatia haha But we would be happy to play in Germany cause we think it's metal supporting country.

What bands would you like to play alongside?
We would be glad to play alongside Anthrax and Skull Fist esspecialy, but in general we would be grateful to play alongside every other thrash or heavy metal band.

Any last words?
Listen to our album let us now sincerely what you think about it. We appreciate every comment.

Opeth - Sorceress (Album Lyrics)

1. Opeth - Persephone Lyrics

A beloved name inside my heart
A fleeting glance became the start
A missing word I am still awaiting
A wretched deception, I am creating

2. Opeth - Sorceress Lyrics

I am a sinner and I worship evil
Blood is thinner, but you will never know
Can you confess that you thrive in chaos
You're a sorceress and your eye is on the lost

But you're dying
It's in your eyes

You're a sharlatan, you get everything you wish
You're a harlot carry poison in your kiss
Beg forgiveness with a dagger in your hand
Sow your death seed and reap the dying lands

But you're crying
It's only vice

Empty vessel drained of hope
And none the lesser at the end of a rope
Have you ever hated like I?
Know I still awaited the absence of lies

Watch your eager tongue
Attack me from behind

Riddle whisper, bleak futile control
Like a twin sister adapting to a role
You're a murderer, bloodlust increase
You're a harvester, come close to spread disease

And you're hiding
I hear you cry

3. Opeth - The Wilde Flowers Lyrics

Sun hangs high, I turn away
Failure underground
Heart is sick and fever is high
Waiting for a sound

Like a trail of insects to me
I watch them from afar
Feeding, breeding, scheming
Tell me I am wrong

Hiding from discovery
Staring down into the ground
Had they seen the posion in me
A tide of spite wound be found

Moving faster lingering gaze
Feasting on my sanity
A grain of sand against endless waves
A wish for the slaughter of conformity

Blinding light as the flames grow higher
Searing skin on a funeral pyre
Blinding light as the flames grow higher
Searing skin on a funeral pyre

Inside me sleeps a violence waiting to be freed

[Solo: Åkesson]

Blinding light as the flames grow higher
Searing skin on a funeral pyre
Blinding light as the flames grow higher
Searing skin on a funeral pyre

Blinding light and the flames grow higher
Searing skin on a funeral pyre
Should I speak and they'll call me a liar
I'll retreat to my funeral pyre

My sanctuary, a thousand centuries
I'm not waiting, I'm tired of waiting
I'm not waiting, I'm tired of waiting
I'm not waiting, I'm tired of waiting
I'm not waiting

4. Opeth - Will o the Wisp Lyrics

When you're tired of waiting and time is not on your side
When you're tired of hating me, you no longer want to hide

You're stuck to the failures of your life
Marred with the sorrows of your strife

And time it waits for no one
It heals them when you die
And soon you are forgotten
A whisper within a sigh

When there's trouble admitting that you have been wrong all along
When the words you have written down reads "everything is gone"

You're stuck to the failures of your life
Marred with the sorrows of your strife

And time it waits for no one
It heals them when you die
And soon you are forgotten
A whisper within a sigh

And time it waits for no one
It heals them when you die
And soon you are forgotten
A whisper within a sigh

When you smother your friendships and take much more than you need
When you can't keep a secret to yourself and points to the source of the deed

You're stuck to the failures of your life
Marred with the sorrows of your strife

And you can never find the satisfaction
When you can't outgrow your false distractions

[Solo: Åkesson]

You know your soul is weighed on the silver scale of deceit and lies

[Solo: Åkerfeldt]

5. Opeth - Chrysalis Lyrics

And on the furthest day when you lay down
Discard your disarray and your rusted crown
And face the wretched image of you and I
No trust in what you say, you are a dead poison seed
Stronger when you are away, you have nothing that I need
The rhyme has settled in the ghost of a sigh
Nothing now remains, now you will leave me be

Sunrise into the moonlight
A broken body lies in wait
Your prize won you the stark night
And you made peace with your fate
Blind eyes sensitive only to white light
Reacting just a bit too late

Preying on insecurity, a design of your schemes
A true believer of purity must tend to what it means
Or allow its gospel to turn into a lie
You forsake everything you feel in favor of despair
Immune and blind to everything that is real in your secret lair
And cast away the captive heart that was thine

And you will go and leave me be

Winter in your soul, building a wasteland
And you tread a thin ice 'neath your feet
Sneering, and everyone you would shun
Collecting flowers to your wreath
Lifeline, a river cuts deep in your cold hand
It is changing when you try to breathe

[Solo: Åkesson, Svalberg, Åkesson, Svalberg]

Leave it all behind you, there is comfort in giving up
A seed in a barren soil might curl up into a coil
Flourish into something new
Give back what you thought was "you"
And give way to all that is new

[Solo: Åkerfeldt]

Leave it all behind you...

6. Opeth - Sorceress 2 Lyrics

Until I take my final breath
In a year or even less
I hope you will give me all your time
And do not forget me down the line

And I will never ask you if you will stay
Or if you will cry when I go away

Until I take my final breath
In a year or even less
I hope you will give me all your time
And do not forget me down the line

And I will never ask you if you will stay
Or if you will cry when I go away

Ice melting into the sea
Your river flowing back to me

And when you take your final breath
In many years from now, no less
I hope you feel a peace at heart
Don't be afraid to kiss the dark

And don't ever wonder if I stayed
My love for you can not die away

7. Opeth - The Seventh Sojourn Lyrics

Hold me in your arms
Never do me harm
Never do me harm
Hold me in your arms

A raging sea in your eyes
Gives away your disguise
Grants me the peace to leave
And finally leave you be

8. Opeth - Strange Brew Lyrics

An afternoon walk through the park
I keep to the shadows until it's dark

I am not educated nor free of sin
I carry thoughts of giving in

There is a void surrounding me
No sound, and in the black I can not see
There is a chasm between you and me
You have no face, no body, no words to speak

[Solo: Åkerfeldt, Åkesson]

There is a wickedness in me
I can't seem to make it go away
I am a spiritual leper but I can see
A flock of believers gone astray

There's eternal night in my gaze
I'm cast out and I am not like you
Find my way on through the haze
I'm liquefied in a strange brew

An early morn walk through the park
I look to the sun when it is cold and stark

I blend with the crows of robot minds
Never a leader, I am always behind

A voice through the rain tells me I'm here
A glance from a veil brings me to tears
A voice through the rain tells me I'm here
A glance from a veil brings me to tears
A voice through the rain tells me I'm here
A glance from a veil brings me to tears

A voice through the rain tells me I'm here
A glance from a veil brings me to tears

9. Opeth - A Fleeting Glance Lyrics

Up until recently I have been alone
Leading a tranquil life but never at home
Something had changed and I turned to the wind
That blew through me and told me, "How long? How long?"

Silenced the voice of my heart now for years
I was perplexed by a fleeting blank stare
Biding my time until courage had build up inside me
Then came clean, "Or am I wrong"

[Solo: Åkerfeldt]

I spend all my days contemplating my will
For the weak shall inherit the earth when it's still
A govenment bid for my life
I was sold as a cog in a machine, "I walk the line"

A fleeting glance again tells me everything
Took a chance in vain, drown to a futile idea
A pursuit of happiness as the storm rolls in
An idol of helplessness, paved the way and then gave in

I met with my mother and I asked her why
For ten years so more she would never reply
Suddenly she said we are all born to die
Gave me purpose, freed me, "How simple it can be"

But it's fading away from my mind
There's another "me" waiting behind

[Solo: Åkerfeldt]

But it's fading away from my mind
There's another "me" waiting behind

10. Opeth - Era Lyrics

There's a sign in the rain
Every now and again
It is a symbol of hope
In the midst of a catastrophic episode

In the hour of death
There's a spiritual wealth
When we dance through the rain
And form the signs once again

If even for a second

I hear a voice on the air
It has a warning to share
"Don't believe what you see"
"You can't perceive what you feel"

But if I do what I'm told
And shun the spirit I hold
I'm no longer a human
And I will not shift with the sands

The end of an era
One starts anew
You know the devil
He lives in you

The end of an era
One starts anew
You know the devil
He lives in you

There are moments of doubt when I don't know what to do
And giving in is the only way out
When there's too much shouting about how I should choose

Incapacitated, I'm left behind
In a sea of hatred I go blind
A storm is coming, I hide away
In the years of need reason leads astray

[Solo: Åkesson]

The end of an era
One starts anew
You know the devil
He lives in you

The end of an era
One starts anew
You know the devil
He lives in you
He lives in you
He lives in you

11. Opeth - Persephone (Slight Return) Lyrics

The years went by with disquieting grace
A past obsession sunk without a trace
I moved into winter and found my home
As my boiling blood had turned to chrome

Interview with Tellurium, Progressive Metal Band from United Kingdom

Tellurium, Underground Prog Metal Band from United Kingdom. Tellurium are Ant Macia - Bass, Scott Weller - Drums, Mark Phillips - Guitars, Mark Collinge - Guitars, Catherine Finch - Vocals, and Mike Finch - Vocals.

Tell us about Tellurium?
Tellurium were created as a project by vocal duo Catherine and Mike Finch.
We first recruited drummer Scott Weller, we had worked with him before and saw him give a brilliant performance with another band.
We got in touch with Ant Mascia after Mike had an opportunity to work with him at an open metal session and was impressed with his skill, speed and unusual technique.
Guitarist Mark Phillips had been on our radar from the outset but when initially approached was working on other projects and therefore unable to fully commit to the band.
In the mean time Ant introduced guitarist Mark Collinge to the band and the business of song writing commenced in earnest. Mark (C), a classically trained musician and published music writer, brought a different set of skills and experience to the band. The band quickly developed a strong musical style combining explosive vocals with long progressive guitar passages. As the writing progressed Mark Phillips became more and more involved with the band finally becoming a full time member of Tellurium, bringing a fuller sound to the guitar tracks and contributing to the writing.

What are lyrical themes of Tellurium?
Lyrically we are an issues based band with songs covering themes such as domestic violence, alcohol abuse, sweat shops in the developing world and whale hunting in the Southern Ocean. With the exception of The Angel Maker which was from a poem by Frankie Finch, Mike has written all the lyrics and these were inspired each time by the developing music and drawn from personal passions and experience.

What are your influences?
We have found our music very hard to catergorise or compare to other bands. We are often asked who we sound like, a question we can’t really answer. There are many influences to be heard in the music but we can’t be said to actually sound like any of them. The influences run from Slipknot to Porcupine Tree, from Joe Satriani to Cradle of Filth and Megadeth to Tool!  This has led to the coining of the term Progressive Psycho Metal.

Can you tell us about Metal Scene in Your Town?
We have a small but active metal scene in Littlehampton - a town that is known on the South Coast for producing Punk bands – I don’t know why, it just seems to be what we do! That having been said there is sufficient support to run monthly live music events, we have an internet radio station Metal Mayhem Radio which regularly plays local bands run by a musician and metal DJ. There is a lot of innovation here which I think really deserves support!

Who are Your Favorite British Prog Metal Band?
OK, this brought on some fairly lively debate but in the end a rough consensus was arrived at with:  Tesseract, Aliases, Sikth and Biomechanical. At about this point the discussion headed off into other genres so we didn’t get much further!

How were the songs written?
All of the songs have been a full collaboration between all the band members. Often Mark (C) and Ant will come to the band with a musical theme or idea, Mark (P) will then help to develop the theme and structure and Scott works on the drum patterns which help to define the developing sound. At this stage Mike starts to get the feel of the track and develop the lyrics and we work on the vocal structure. When you look at it like this it does seem quite organised but it doesn’t feel that way! It has however worked well for us.

How did the recording process go?
We recorded the first four tracks of the planned debut album, Conform & Consume, at Ford Lane Studio but were delayed when Mike suffered a medical emergency. We went back to Ford Lane for several more sessions after he had recovered and the album was completed with the addition of the mellow instrumental Interlude and the track Angel Maker. We all love being in the studio and Ford Lane is a great place to be, tucked away in the Sussex countryside. Yes it is hard work and can be stressful but it is an amazing experience and to hear the music at the end of the process makes everything worthwhile!

What does the future hold for Debut Album?
For us now it is a case of PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE and try to get the music into the public arena as far and as wide as possible – guess that is going to make us a complete pain in the backside!. We see this as a first step and hope that it can help us progress.

What are you future plan?
We would like to get out and gig more, we will be back into the song writing phase soon and be thinking about how we want to develop the music, perhaps starting work on a follow up album!

Are there any countries you’re interested in touring or performing in? Why?
Wow, yeah, loads of countries we would like to play in, France, particularly at Hellfest most of the band have been several times and we have all been blown away by the atmosphere and organisation! Eastern Europe, such a great metal scene with really interesting bands or perhaps India, an exciting and emerging scene with massive potential!

What bands would you like to play alongside?
I guess every member of the band would have a different list but if it were a dream line up of any bands in the world I would say System of a Down and Rammstein – boy, delusions of grandeur there! Lol. Recently we had a lot of fun playing alongside another local band 1 in 5, just a great gig with an amazing atmosphere!

Any last words?
Really, just a huge THANK YOU to the numerous people who have helped us, contributed, supported us, come to gigs, spent their hard earned cash on music and merch, bands simply cannot survive and do what they do without them! Thank you also for this opportunity to talk.
